FastTrack Migration Benefit – How to get help.
Introduction
This guide is intended to walk you through the setup and configuration of the
Migration Hub Portal and access the Learning Center. After completing
these steps, you will be ready start a migration using Migration Hub
Submit a Request for Assistance (RFA)
There are several levels of support with FastTrack M365. Should you use the
FastTrack Migration Benefit, you can request your level of support by
using this Decision Tree.
For license eligibility, click

Click Continue.
In this task, we will walk through the process of creating a RFA (Request for
Assistance) through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center (MAC).
Click
in the address bar and type,
https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home#/SetupGuidance/FastTrackAssistance
,
then hit Enter.
Sign in with your credentials:
Click in the Email field
and type
admin@contoso.com
,
then hit
Enter or Click Next.
Type
password
as password,
then hit Enter or
click Sign
in .
Click
Yes to stay signed
in.
Under
Request for assistance status and history, click on
Submit a new request . (Note: If the
Submit a
new request is greyed out, you are not eligible for
FastTrack
assistance.)
Review the
Overview section and
then click Next .
In the Choose products section, if
you want help with one of our Migration Workloads, do the
following:
Under Email migration and
Security, select
Exchange
Online .
Click on
the calendar
icon to
select
a planned deployment
date.
Select
4 as
the
date.
Click on
the down
arrow
to view
the drop down
list.
Select
Gmail
as the
mail system from the
list.
Click on
the
checkbox
to
request data migration
services
for paid
licenses.
Click
Save .
Under Collaboration and
Storage, select
OneDrive for
Business .
Click on
the calendar
icon to
select
a planned deployment
date.
Select
4 as
the
date.
Click on
the down
arrow
to view
the drop down
list.
Select
Google
Drive
from the list.
Click on
the
checkbox
to
request data migration
services
for paid
licenses.
Click
Save .
Under Collaboration and
Storage, select
SharePoint
Online .
Click on
the calendar
icon to
select
a planned deployment
date.
Select
4 as
the
date.
Click on
the down
arrow
to view
the drop down
list.
Select
Box
from the
list.
Click on
the
checkbox
to
request data migration
services
for paid
licenses.
Click
Save .
Click
Next .
In the Customer details section:
Click in the Provide a
unique name for this request
field to type a name.
Type Contoso
Gmail Migration
and
hit Enter .
Type Street
Address as 1
Ponderosa Lane
and hit
Enter .
Type City
as
Seattle
and hit
Enter .
Type WA
as State or
Province and hit
Enter .
Click on the down arrow
to select a Country
or Region .
Select United
States from the list.
Type 98562
as Postal Code and hit
Enter .
Click on the down arrow
to select Your
Language from the
list.
Select English
(United States) .
In the Is there
any info we should know that
could impact the project?
field, type Need
FastTrack assistance to onboard
Exchange and Sharepoint Online
followed with the mailbox and
content migrations
and
hit Enter .
Click on the scroll bar
to scroll down.
In the Feedback
question, select
Eliminate on-premise hardware
cost and
support from the
list.
Click the
Yes radio button to
select it.
Click
Next .
In the Contacts section:
Click in the
Phone Number field and
type 5555125125 ,
then hit
Enter .
Click
Next .
In the Primary contact and business sponsor
section:
Under Primary contact information:
Click in
the First
name
field and
type
Bob
,
then
hit
Enter .
Type
Ingram
in the
Last
name
field
and hit
Enter .
Type
admin@contoso.com
in the Email
address

Select
IT
administrator
from the Title
field drop down
list.

Under
Business sponsor
information:
Enter
details for your
business sponsor if you
have one. For this
interactive guide, we
are going to use the
primary contact as a
business sponsor as
well. Click on the check
box for
Same as primary

select it.

Next .
In the Review and submit section:
Click the
“I acknowledge that (a) my
request for assistance involves
the
registration of my contact
information,
(b) I have reviewed the
Licensing Terms,
Privacy.....”
check box
to select it.
Click
the Submit button to submit your RFA
Request.
Note
your submission ID, copy it, and keep it for your
records. If
approved, FastTrack specialist will reach out to
initiate your
deployment. Click Done .
Accessing FastTrack Portal & Learning center (LC)
In this task, we will walk through accessing the Learning Center.
Click
in the address bar and
type, https://fasttrack.microsoft.com/
,
then hit Enter .
Sign in with your credentials:
Click in
the Email field and
type admin@contoso.com
,
then
hit Enter or
click Next .
Type password
as password , then
hit Enter or
click Sign in .
In
the FastTrack Main Page , on the
top ribbon,
click Migrate and access Migration
Hub Portal.
In the
Migration Hub, in the Learning Center section, click on
Go to the learning center.
You can
select any of the migration types to learn more about
FastTrack process **. For this interactive guide, click
on
Get Started for the Gmail
tile.

Accessing FastTrack Portal & Raise case with Migration Support team via
Live Chat
In this task, we will walk through raising a ticket with Migration Support
Team.
On the
top ribbon, click Migrate .
Select
from bottom right of the screen, the widget:
Live
Chat (we’re online) .
In the
Customer Type dropdown list select
Planning to use FastTrack
Migration
Team.
In the
Select a topic for this chat dropdown
list
select FastTrack Portal issue.
In the
Provide a brief description of your
query
box, type I can’t access FastTrack Portal.
and hit Enter .
Click
on the checkbox to acknowledge that
you agree to the Support Service
Terms .
Click
on Submit .
Next,
an agent will initiate the discussion. Please wait for
the
agent to respond back. Type I can’t access
FastTrack Portal.
in the chat window and hit
Enter .

on the – icon to minimize the
chat.
Accessing FastTrack Portal & Raise case via Support Page
In this task, we will walk through raising a ticket with Migration Support
Team.
On the
top ribbon, click Help and access
FastTrack Portal Help page.
Under the Articles tab:
Click in the search box to
type.
Type FastTrack
to search for an article,
then hit Enter .
Select FastTrack Portal
Login Issues from
the search results.
Read the article with guidance on
how to resolve your login
issue. Click on the scroll bar to scroll
down .
Click on Back to
top on the bottom left of
the page.
Click on Back to all
articles link. You can now
execute a new search (if required).
Under the FAQ tab:
Click on FAQ
tab.
Click on the scroll bar to
scroll down till the end of the
page.
Click on Back to top
button on bottom-left of the
page to come back to the top of the FAQs
page.
In the Get help section on top-right side of the
FAQs page:
In case the Articles and FAQ
questions did not fix customer
issue, then raise a ticket with Migration
Support Team.
Click on Submit Ticket.
Type FastTrack

In order to check tickets raised
in the past, click on the
Ticket History tab.
Select the ticket number
MST-18068-W3N3G .
Check the status of the ticket.
Then click + Add
comment to add an additional
comment.
In the add
comment field, type
The
problem wasn’t
resolved.
and hit
Enter .
Click on the scroll bar
to scroll down .
Click
Submit .
You should see now the ticket updated with your last
comment.
